- ID card / CNIC and hospital paperwork
- Antenatal file, ultrasound reports and prescription list
- Loose, comfortable clothes and a going-home outfit
- Nursing bras and comfortable underwear
- Maternity pads (large)
- Toiletries: toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, hair ties, lip balm
- Slippers and warm socks
- Phone charger with long cable
- Water bottle and light snacks (dates, biscuits)
For Baby
- 3–4 baby onesies / bodysuits
- Soft cotton caps, socks and mittens
- Receiving blanket and a warm wrap
- Newborn diapers (pack of at least 10)
- Baby wipes and cotton wool
- Muslin cloths / burp cloths
- Going-home outfit weather-appropriate
For Partner / Support
- ID and cash / cards
- Change of clothes and toiletries
- Phone, power bank and camera
- List of people to call after delivery
- Snacks, water and light entertainment
- Contact number of paediatrician
