Umeed AI (“we”, “us”) is a pregnancy-support app maintained by Experts Health Corner, led by Dr. Humaira Latif. This page explains, in plain language, what data the app handles.
What we store on your device
Trackers (kicks, weight, blood pressure, appointments), your last period date, birth-plan notes and hospital-bag checklist selections are saved in your browser’s local storage. They stay on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
Ask Umeed (AI chat)
When you send a message, the text is sent to our AI provider to generate a reply. Do not include information you would not want a third party to process. Chat messages are kept locally on your device.
Contact / newsletter
If you share your email or WhatsApp number with us for updates, we use it only to send pregnancy-stage tips and updates you asked for. You can ask us to remove it at any time.
We do not sell your personal data
Umeed AI does not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are most useful. This is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
