Baby's size
About the size of a raspberry — 1.6cm.
What's happening
Baby is now called a fetus. Fingers and toes are beginning to form, and eyelids are developing.
Your body
Your first prenatal visit is often scheduled between weeks 8 and 10.
Common symptoms
- Nausea
- Fatigue
- Bloating
- Emotional sensitivity
When to call your doctor
- Heavy bleeding
- Severe pain
- Fever above 38°C
